DLF The Dahlias: Cricketer Shikhar Dhawan Invests in Gurgaon’s Most Expensive Project
According to CRE Matrix, former cricketer Shikhar Dhawan has purchased an apartment in DLF The Dahlias. The Dahlias is a super luxury project in Gurgaon developed by DLF. He bought a spacious apartment of around 6,000 sq. ft., priced at approximately ₹65.60 crores.
Shikhar Dhawan is an Indian cricketer, well known in the world through ICC tournaments, and people know him as Mr. ICC. He is one of the best left-handed opening batsmen for the Indian team. India has won many matches because of its strong performances.
He has had a long 12-year cricket journey and has made many records. In the 2013 and 2017 ICC Champions Trophy tournaments, he scored the most runs. In 2013, when India won the Champions Trophy, he scored 363 runs and was also named the Player of the Tournament.
From 2013 to 2019, Dhawan was the highest run-scorer for India in most ICC tournaments. He announced his retirement from all forms of cricket in August 2024. Shikhar Dhawan is one of India’s best cricketers.
DLF launched its 17-acre residential project called “DLF The Dahlias” in August 2024. Located right on Golf Course Road, in Sector 54, Gurgaon, is a prime and highly sought-after location. It comes under Phase 5, which is the most expensive area of Gurgaon.
Golf Course Road is connected to Sector 54 Metro station, Mega Mall, South Point Mall, and Paras Hospital, and Genpact is located near The Camellias. There is no more space left for new projects in this area.
At the time of launch, 173 out of 420 apartments were sold, with a total value of around ₹11,816 crores. Most of the buyers were NRIs, high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), and celebrities.

Gurgaon is one of the most expensive cities in the real estate market of NCR in 2024. DLF has delivered some of the costliest residential projects here. Earlier, Mumbai was known as the most expensive city, but now Gurgaon has joined that league.
